LUMBERJACK TRIPLE ACTION WOOD TREATMENT takes care of all your wood treatment and
preservation needs in the one can. It is a low solvent; low odour solution based on Micro-fine active
technology with added fungicides, algaecides and Permethrin to actively kil and protect against al
known wood rot; decay, fungi and wood boring insects. The fungicides and algaecides present in
these formulations are finely dispersed so that wood penetration and hence effectiveness is much
greater than standard wood preservation products
LUMBERJACK TRIPLE ACTION WOOD TREATMENT is fast drying and non flammable and application to
wet timbers is possible without loss of performance. It is specifical y designed to deeply penetrate al
wood and joinery to give long lasting protection from damage caused by wet rot, dry rot, decay; fungi
and wood boring insects/larvae.

Limitations
• Ready to use - do not dilute.

• Avoid contact with bitumen, roofing felt or plastics.

Surface Preparation
Ensure that surfaces are clean, and free from paint varnish, stain, grease, bark or any other
contaminants. Surfaces may be damp. If decay is already present, remove al decayed wood and
replace with sound treated timber.
Precautionary Notes
ALWAYS READ STATUTORY CONDITIONS RELATING TO USE BEFORE STARTING ANY WORK. Ensure
good ventilation before applying and after application until the treatment has dried (HSE statutory 1
hour re-entry time or until surfaces are dry) NOTE: drying times wil be extended in cold weather and
if ventilation is restricted. Avoid contact with skin and eyes, Remove any splashes immediately. Clean
up spil s immediately (to avoid staining) with warm soapy water.
In roof areas, felt under tiles must be protected from contact with the fluid. Roof insulation’s must be
removed and only replaced when treated timbers are thoroughly dry. Water storage tanks must be
covered.
When treating flooring and joists, boards should be left up for as long as possible to assist
ventilation/drying.
Switch off electrical circuits in the area being treated before and for 48 hours after treatment. PVC
covered electrical wiring wil not normal y be affected, but we recommend wiping any excess from
cables wherever possible.
Application
Shake wel before use. Apply by brush, spray or dipping. Apply a minimum of two coats if brushing or
spraying. The second coat should be applied after the first coat has soaked in but before it is dry. Pay
particular attention to thoroughly soaking the end grain. Where possible, dip the end grains of the
timber for maximum protection.
Coverage Guide
Joinery, floorboards, furniture roof joists etc: Apply 1 litre of product per 3 - 4m² of surface.
Ideal y this should be applied as 2-3 even coats leaving at least 2 hours between applications or dip for three
minutes.
Timber not in ground contact: 3 coats by brush or spray or dip for 10 minutes. Coverage: 4m2 per
litre.
Timber in ground contact: Soak for 1 hour. Coverage: 40 litres per cubic meter.

In case of accident or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately (show label where possible) Avoid release to the environment. Refer to special instructions / safety data sheets

STATUTORY CONDITIONS RELATION TO USE :
To avoid risk to man and the environment comply with the instructions for use.
FOR USE ONLY AS A WOOD PRESERVATIVE.
Wear suitable protective clothing and eye / face protection. Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Do not breathe
spray mist. Otherwise wear respiratory protective equipment and eye protection (see HSE Guidance Booklet HSE (G) 53: “The
Selection, Use and maintenance of Respiratory Protective Equipment - A practical guide’’). COVER ALL WATER STORAGE TANKS before application. REMOVE OR COVER ALL FISH TANKS AND BOWLS before application. DO NOT CONTAMINATE FOODSTUFFS, EATING UTENSILS OR FOOD CONTACT SURFACES other than outdoor tables. EXCLUDE ALL UNPROTECTED PERSONS AND ANIMALS DURING TREATMENT AND FOR AT LEAST 1 HOUR AFTER TREATMENT IS COMPLETED. ENSURE THERE IS A PHYSICAL BARRIER TO PREVENT CONTACT BY UNPROTECTED PERSONS AND ANIMALS UNTIL THE TREATED SURFACES ARE VISIBLY DRY. ALL BATS ARE PROTECTED UNDER THE WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981. BEFORE TREATING ANY STRUCTURES USED BY BATS, CONSULT ENGLISH NATURE, SCOTTISH NATURAL HERITAGE OR THE COUNTRYSIDE COUNCIL FOR WALES. DO NOT USE ON BEEHIVES OR BEE KEEPING EQUIPMENT. This material and its container must be disposed of in a safe way. Do not empty into drains. Avoid contact with eyes. Avoid contact with skin. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Do not contaminate ground, waterbodies or water courses with chemicals or used container. This product is approved under The Control of Pesticide Regulations (1986) for use as directed.
