My Method To Find Keywords That Are Actually Being Searched And Sending Traffic To Existing Websites
Recently I started to use a WordPress plug-in called SEO SearchTerms Tagging 2. This plug-in is very powerful
and in a nut shell it gets the search term that sent traffic to your site and displays it in some manner. Out of the box
this program leaves a foot print that you can search in Google and find sites using this plug-in and look at what
keywords are being used to send them traffic. Many people leave it this way and do not realize that there is this
foot print. Let’s say I have a dieting site and I want to see what keywords are sending traffic to other dieting sites.
The way I can find sites using this plug-in is to search Google using one of these methods:
Actually each of those search terms could potentially give me hundreds of sites that I can look at and get keyword
ideas. I can also change Diet to Dieting, Best Diet, Good Diet or any other keyword I want. I could also use quotes
around my two or more word keywords to get back more targeted results.
There is one downside to this method and that is how time consuming it is to visit hundreds of sites and gather up
the keywords. This is where I took this idea to the next step. I decided to write a program to do all the time
consuming work for me. Let me give you an example of the results from my program. I put in the keyword Diet
and checked the Incoming Search Terms box and ran the program. This is what I got back in only a few short

they leave behind. You can absolutely do this without my software program. Just click on each result that Google
brings back and look on the page for the keywords. Although I do not want to think about how long it would take
to generate a list of 683 keywords like above doing this manually.
