The Darke County Parks Native Plant sale is back! The plant sale will be Saturday, April 26, 2014 from 10am-4pm
during *Nature Day* at Shawnee Prairie Preserve. Butterfly gardening is the focus of the plants available this year.
Please consider planting milkweed to help provide habitat for the struggling monarch population.
Plants are available for pre-sale AND/OR purchase on the day of the Plant Sale. Pre-sale is the only way to guarantee
that you will receive the quantity and variety of plants that you want. Pre-sale forms and payment must be turned in by March 28, 2014. If you can’t decide what to order, then visit us during the plant sale to see what is available!
On the back side, you will find a list of plants available (including some shade varieties!), a brief info section and the
price of each plant. If you would like to pre-order plants, please fill out this form with the number of plants you
would like and return it, with your payment, to the address on reverse.
The Plant Sale will occur at the Shelter House at Shawnee Prairie Preserve (4267 State Route 502 West) Pre-Sale Plants must be picked up during the Plant Sale on Saturday, April 26th between 10am and 4pm. Please note: Any plants not picked up by May 2, 2014 will be considered a donation to the Park District and will be planted within our prairies.
